F A L L

For the past two days in a small town in the beautiful California, the seasons were changing. Fall was coming quicker than ever. The days were overcast and cold. The wind was louder than ever and the days were growing colder and colder. As the seasons are changing and so was I. I mean a new school year as a college freshman was a pretty big deal for me. There's a whole new atmosphere compared to high school and also with two separate parents. In California we are known for only really having two season: summer, and winter. Summer consisted of spring and parts of what are considered "fall". Winter wasn't even called winter, it was a mix of fall colors with a lot of wind. But this fall season seemed promising until I saw the forecast for this weekend. Almost 100 degrees for the next three days. So we had an intermix of seasons, summer and winter. I feel like the weather in my hometown resembles my life as weird as that sounds. The days were hot and cold and everything that was in between. Just like me, but isn't that a good thing? I am not completely cold or hot, on most days I am a unique mixture. One day is not the same as the last. I guess California's weather forecast not as predictable as other states. And neither was mine, I wasn't as predictable as my lame high school stereotype. It was a new season, and for some odd reason I was feeling extremely excited. Even though the seasons weren't perfect in this state, neither were mine.
